Hardscape lives or dies on detail: joint lines, coursing, edge restraint, how a wall steps with the grade. Those are the things a homeowner cannot articulate but absolutely notices, and they disappear entirely in a quick phone photo shot straight on at noon.
We shoot hardscape in raking light so texture and pattern have dimension, then work the details separately — corners, caps, step returns, transitions between materials. Those images do more in a proposal than any description of your process.
Aerial frames carry the layout: how the patio relates to the house, where the outdoor kitchen sits, how the walkway solves the approach. Combined with a before shot of the original yard, the whole design decision becomes legible to someone considering the same project.
